Terms
and Conditions
Deposit: A
deposit of 20% of the total rental cost
(including pool heat) is required when booking our holiday villa. As soon as this deposit is received, your
booking will be confirmed. The balance
of the rental cost will be required 8 weeks before the beginning of the
rental
period. For bookings made within 8
weeks of your vacation commencing, the full amount will need to be paid
when
the reservation is made.
Security
Deposit: A separate
security/damage deposit of £200/$300 is required to be paid at the same
time as
the balance payment. This will be
refunded at the end of the rental period if our local Management Company
confirm that there is no loss/damage.
The party leader agrees to accept full liability for all loss or
damage
caused by any member of their party during the occupation of the villa. The party must treat the property, and all
its furniture and fittings with respect.
Any loss or damage must be reported immediately to the Management
Company. There is a folder in your
villa with important information from the Management Company. Please take time to read through this.
Cancellation: If
your party needs to cancel the booking,
the following conditions will apply. If
your party cancels the booking up to 12 weeks prior to the arrival date,
50% of
your deposit will be returned. If you
cancel after that 12 week period, unfortunately your deposit will not be
refundable. If you fail to pay the
balance by the due date (8 weeks before your arrival), you may lose your
booking
and your deposit. If the cancellation
occurs after the balance has been paid, then the full amount will be
lost. We advise you to take out travel insurance
with medical and cancellation cover as soon as your booking is
confirmed.
Occupancy: Our
villa is usually ready for occupancy
from 4.00pm (16.00) on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by
10.00am
on the day of your departure. Only
those persons identified on the booking form are authorised to use the
property. You must notify us of any changes to
the
persons booked to occupy the villa for insurance and legal purposes. We would request you to respect our
neighbours and to behave in a courteous and considerate manner at all
times. We want you to enjoy yourselves
but please respect our neighbours and our property.
Maintenance: Our
home is looked after by our local
Management Company – all contact numbers are in the villa instruction
manual. Any breakages, losses,
accidents and problems must be reported to them as soon as they occur. However, please be aware that there will be
charges for any call-outs which are deemed unnecessary. Access
to the villa may be required by authorised
maintenance personnel during your stay.
Pets: Pets
are not allowed in our holiday
villa. This is to safeguard the
wellbeing of future guests who may suffer from allergies.
Smoking: Smoking
is not allowed in our villa.
Force
Majeure: The owners of the property or their
servants
or agents will not be liable for any loss or delay occasioned by any of
the
following: Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War or threat
of War,
Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Tornadoes,
Hurricanes,
Weather Conditions or any other event beyond our control.
We advise you to take out adequate travel
insurance to cover such eventualities.
Disclaimer: The
owners of the property or their agents
accept no liability for personal loss or injury to guests whilst at the
villa. Please use the swimming pool
with great caution as it is an obvious source of danger, especially for
young
children. We cannot accept any
liability whatsoever for any injury/accident caused as a result of using
the
swimming pool in our villa. The doors
to the patio/swimming pool area are fitted with alarms for the safety of
guests, particularly young children.
This is required by law and disabling or tampering with the alarm
is a
Federal Offence.
